 Governor Natembeya Condemns insults and false allegations at the Funeral of Mana Anne Nanyama



Trans Nzoia County Governor George Natembeya has issued a strong statement condemning what he termed as "shameful and mannerless utterances" made by some political leaders during the funeral of Mama Anne Nanyama in Kabuchai, Bungoma County.

The governor revealed that he was the target of "severe verbal attacks" at the event, including accusations of orchestrating extrajudicial abductions in the previous regime. In response, Natembeya refuted these claims, affirming his integrity and commitment to public service. "Let it be known that George Natembeya served as a diligent, honest, and truthful servant to the people of Kenya. I resigned as The Regional Commissioner without any stain or scandal," he said.
The governor claimed that he was attacked solely because he stood with Kenyans and boldly urged  the President  to end the abductions and extra judicial killings experienced in the country.
'' i want my fellow kenyans to know that the reason some political leaders saw it worth attacking me was because i boldly told the President to order the end of abductions and command the release of the abducted youths'' he added.
The governor also criticized the behavior of certain politicians at the funeral, accusing them of insensitivity and diverting attention from critical national issues , he urged the leaders to remain focused on serving Kenyans and upholding constitutional principles, 
He further expressed condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives i the tragic accident along the Soy area in KItale -Eldoret highway and urged the motorists to exercise caution when using the dangerous stretch of road.
