  NAIROBI, 20th JULY 2022- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested four Kericho County government officials for procurement irregularities in a shilling 100million tender to upgrade Kerenga Airstrip. The Commission says the four, three of them being county government officials and the other one, a  surveyor  from the ministry of lands altered the tender to favour a particular bidder and lock out the rest. Kibet Ngetich Nelson, Evaline Chepkirui Marogo Ngeno, John Kiprono Mibei, Geoffrey Komen Kibwen were arrested after EACC’s South Rift Regional office in Nakuru received a complaint about the   evaluation criteria for the tinder to rehabilitate the Airstrip.
