  Somali Mothers’ Cries for Their Lost Children in the hands of Human Traffickers. Back in Mandera, where I grew up 20 years ago, the sound of crying mothers was something we all knew too well. It wasn’t unusual to see a woman breaking down in the neighborhood . Their tears told the same heartbreaking story—sons and daughters trapped in Libya by the Magafe traffickers, beaten and starved while ransom demands drained their families. These mothers begged, borrowed, and sold everything they owned, desperate to save their children. As a child, I remember feeling terrified whenever I overheard these stories. NAIROBI, KENYA, AUGUST 20- Jubilee secretary general now says the rigging that happened in this year's elections will be difficult to challenge and prove in a court of law. AGANO PARTY'S DAVID MWAURE CONCEDES DEFEAT AND ENDORSES WILLIAM RUTO AS THE PRESIDENT

 NAIROBI, KENYA, AUGUST 11- Agano presidential candidate David Mwaure Waihiga concedes defeat and indicates that the result are  in favor of United Democratic Party flagbearer  William Ruto. Kenya Secondary Schools Association raise their concerns on the delay of schools reopening

   NAIROBI, KENYA, AUGUST 14 -Kenya Secondary  schools Association now  say that the delay of schools reopening will affect students in terms of exam preparations and the transition to the Competency Based Curriculum. [CBC] Addressing the media today, Chairman of the Kenya Secondary Schools Association [KSSHA] Indimuli Kahi  said that the delay has left the students stranded. ‘’ the closure really affects that final preparation of the students, knowing very well that we are also in the period of transiting from the current 8-4-4 to the CBC where we have the first group of students, the first cohorts joining grade 7 in January 2023, so any further delay will mean we may not be able to get the students ready for the exams and end up delaying the transition,’’ Kahi stated. Igathe concedes defeat after losing to Johnson Sakaja.

 NAIROBI, KENYA, AUGUST 14- Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Polycarp Igathe of jubilee party concedes defeat after he lost the August 9 polls to Johnson Sakaja of UDA party. Taking to his social media platforms, Igathe congratulated the governor elect who is the outgoing senator of the city county. ‘’ I accept the decision of the people of Nairobi and thank all our supporters. The Governor of Nairobi is His Excellency Johnson Sakaja. Congratulations! God bless Kenya.’’ He stated. Sakaja praises the work done by NMS but says its time is over

Raila Odinga congratulates Martha Karua following debate with Rigathi Gachagua.
